Nollywood star actress Ini Edo has reacted to criticism over her decision to have her daughter through surrogacy.
The actress had confirmed the birth of her daughter through surrogacy on Friday.
According to her, she chose to have her first child through surrogacy for the baby’s peace of mind and to fulfil her dream of becoming a mother.
Reacting to the criticisms that have since trailed her revelation, Ini Edo took to her social media to reveal that her daughter’s father is not just a random person.
On her Instagram story, she wrote: “My daughter’s donor is not just a random person doesn’t make him any more than a donor. Now you all can start to focus on what’s really important in this country and leave me alone.”
The actress had disclosed that marriage is not her priority as she has a responsibility to carter for her daughter.
