SKE FC unveils Tonye Omulabo as U-16 Coach

Port Harcourt side, SKE Football Club, has engaged the services of Tonye Omulabo to oversee the U-16 team.

He comes with a 10-year experience from Port Harcourt City Academy where he oversaw the Under10-15 teams after winning several titles and discovered lots of players.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after his unveiling, Coach Tonye Omulabo says the new role is a big opportunity to explore his potentials.

” It is something I have been working on for the past few months with the management. It is a big opportunity for me to replicate what I did in Port Harcourt City FC and it’s one challenge I am looking forward to.”

He went further to say that his wealth of experience will be key in the new role.

” I will start from what I’ve been doing over the years coupled with the facility on the ground at SKE which will be easier to execute the project of raising youngsters. One thing about me is that I understand youth football, I understand the needs of young players and that is what I will be doing at SKE” He concluded

His mandate is brief and simple to oversee the formation and development of players of the U-16 team of SKE FC.

Tonye Omualabo also commended the President of SKE FC of Port Harcourt Kingsley Olisa for providing an enabling environment and the right facilities for a successful journey at the club.

He said the Club President is passionate about youth development and also assured the club of his commitment to the big task ahead.
