Burna Boy donates food relief packs to more than 300 families in Rivers state

Afro-fusion artiste, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna boy has donated food relief items to more than 300 families in Rivers state in commemoration of his big win at the just concluded Grammy awards.

The singer in collaboration with The R.E.A.C.H initiative had food relief materials distributed on Saturday, March 27, to residents of Kono community in Khana L.G.A of the state.

In a post shared by The R.E.A.C.H initiative on Instagram, food items packed in transparent bags were seen being distributed. The bags seen had contents of rice, garri, packs of noodles, beans among others items.

The singer, was earlier hosted to a homecoming event by the Government of Rivers state on Friday that had the likes of Duncan Mighty, Timaya, Bulkwild and other acts in attendance.

He was also gifted a land at the Old G.R.A, and funds to develop the land.

The Ahoada-West native was also conferred with the second-highest honour in the state.

Positive reactions have trailed this act of love by the twice-as-tall legend, as they believe it as an amazing way to celebrate his win.
