Preparations have commenced in earnest ahead of the Bayelsa state governor’s cup golf tournament expected to tee off in the month of March.
The tournament director and senior special assistant to the Bayelsa state governor Johnbull Dangofa says the tournament will tee-off on the 4th of March, 2021.
Johnbull Dangofa said the winner of the tournament will go home with a brand new car.
He disclosed that the competition will follow strict covid-19 protocols.
Johnbull Dangofa who recently turned professional in Bayelsa state also disclosed that the tournament will be used to honour the governor Douye Diri.
”This event will strictly follow covid-19 protocols due to the caliber of people attending the tournament. The Governor of Jos and Edo State will be in Bayelsa for the competition. The Governors and captains of Industries will be here to honour the miracle Governor of Bayelsa Senator Duoye Diri. The winner of the tournament will go home with a brand new car courtesy of our sponsors” he said.
The tournament which will feature professionals and amateurs will end on the 7th of March, 2021.
