A member of the defunct group, ‘Psquare’, Peter has said that singer Omah Lay and Tems who were arrested in Uganda will be on their way to Nigeria soon.
The singers were arrested for flouting COVID-19 protocols while performing on Saturday night at a concert held at Speke Resort.
Omah Lay later confirmed that he was arrested by the police in Uganda on Saturday.
Okoye in an update about their release via his Twitter account on Tuesday morning, said the duo will be on their way back home soon.
According to him, there has been a huge progress to ensure that they are being released.
“Good morning guys! Just to inform you all that there’s a huge progress now and @Omah_Lay and #Tems will be on their way back home soon!
“Pls let’s all be calm! Thanks,” he wrote.
