‘Deal with me like Oshiomhole if I try to become a godfather’ – Obaseki urges Edo People

Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has said he never wants to take over as the new political godfather in Edo State from his predecessor, Adam Oshiomhole.

Obaseki stated this when he paid an appreciation visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday.

The Governor said he is not interested in any such thing; telling the people to deal with him the way they dealt with Oshiomhole if he did.

Obaseki also ruled out the possibility of returning to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after securing his victory through the Peoples Democratic Party; pointing out that he will lose his integrity if he returned to the APC.

He further said that such a move is against Buhari’s gospel of integrity.
