Cultists kill 2 chiefs, 6 others in Rivers communities

At least eight persons have been killed by unidentified gunmen said to be cultists in two communities in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The cult group raided Bua Bangha and Luebe Communities on Monday, and Tuesday where they killed the eight victims.

Community sources told theportcitynews that among the victims were a chief in Luebe, Chief Neeka Aaduma, and another young chief simply identified as Ajeboy who was installed as a chief last year following the death of his father.

The sources said the assault and shooting by the cultists began on Monday and ended on Tuesday.

They said three other unidentified persons were killed in Luebe, while three people were killed in Bua Bangha.
