A former employee has been arrested in the grisly murder of tech CEO Fahim Saleh, sources told The Post Friday.
Tyrese Devon Haspil, 21, is expected to be charged with the murder of Saleh — who was found decapitated and dismembered inside his Lower East Side apartment on Tuesday, the New York Times reported.
‘Person of interest’ in Fahim Saleh murder is ex-employee Haspil worked as Saleh’s personal assistant, with detectives believing he was driven to kill after Saleh found he’d embezzled tens of thousands of dollars from him, the Times said.
Saleh had not reported the alleged theft to authorities — instead he brokered a repayment plan with Haspil.
The entrepreneur’s body was discovered Tuesday by a concerned cousin who hadn’t heard from him in days, sources previously told The Post.
He was killed Monday, with Haspil allegedly first zapping him with a Taser and then fatally stabbing him, according to the Times.
Haspil then allegedly returned the next day to chop up Saleh’s body and clean up the crime scene.
Security footage from inside the elevator Saleh rode up in with his alleged murderer shows Haspil using a portable vacuum to try and cover his tracks, the report said
