Former Nigerian governors – democratic petty thieves.

Yomi Lawal

Tinubu, I own you. I want to know what you do with your wife on the bed I pay for. What food you eat as cooked by the cooks I pay for. In fact, Livestream your bath as you take a shower with the water I pay for in the bathroom I paid for.
Shameless thieves, useless adults surrounded by evil children. Tinubu’s daughter is the iyaloja of Lagos state, what does she sell? Where is her market? She fleeces Lagos markets, walking in the path of her thieving father.

Why this tirade? Well, I got ticked off in quick succession by both this living thieving former governor of Lagos state and the widow of a recently deceased former governor of another SOUTH WEST state. The widow was seen complaining about not receiving the current state government/governor’s attention whilst her husband who governed for 8yrs was ill in Lagos.
So in 8yrs, this particular governor – now deceased – never ceased to remind everyone at whatever venue he found himself that he was the governor and deserved respect. One would think his sole purpose of seeking an “elective” position was just for the idiotic “your excellency” title. In those 8yrs, he only managed to build a mosque. He built no hospital nor even upgrade the ones he met to modern standards. This was the reason why he was quickly sent to hospital in Lagos state.

As a testimony to the shamelessness of these thieving septuagenarians, the hospital he ended up at in Lagos state was also a privately owned hospital. His thieving counterpart in Lagos who ruled also for 8yrs didn’t build a hospital standard enough for he himself to use, awon werey gbogbo.

The widow in her righteous indignation at the deputy governor told those present how pained she was that her husband who “served” that state for 8yrs deserved better. Really aunty? Shall we tell the widow of the thief her husband “stole” for 8yrs and that even the chair she sat on belonged to the people of the state?

“Ha?! You are crazy”, no I’m not, doctors have checked and said I’m not crazy Ooin! In fact, the clothes on her back, the food she eats, the money her children spend, the people of the state give them. The people have a right to know what food she would eat, vote on where she can go and what she can say because they own her ass.

Tinubu, same goes for you and your immediate family. We the people of Lagos own your ass. Your house should be filled with cameras live streaming your entire existence in that house/houses to us, we pay for it. Nah, we don’t want to see you in the toilet, we won’t violate such smelly privacy but we own you and your family.

There was an electoral position open for the governorship of Lagos state, you pleaded and contested and somehow ended up being governor for 8yrs. Only for you to give yourself a pension for “serving” Lagos for merely 8yrs in a capacity not forced on you. Your thieving act became a template for other rogue characters cum governors in the remaining 35 states including this one who just kicked the bucket. This one that copied your every stealing mode even stole lands belonging to people in his state and built a mindless edifice – using stolen money of course – for him to retire to with his greedy family. I heard he stole 48 choice plots. Then the widow who is used to profiting from the crime of her husband also wanted to use his death to seal his theft of the land on which the edifice was built by interning the body of the thief there. “Ha?!” Ha ko, harangue ni.

Let’s start with the asiwaju of thugs in Lagos state. For riding to electoral victory on the back of June 12 and Chief MKO Abiola and governing Lagos for 8yrs, Bola Ahmed Tinubu takes this from you, your parents and children;
1. 100 per cent of the basic salary of the incumbent governor (Sanwoolu’s current salary).
2. Two houses, 1 in Lagos and 1 in Abuja.
3. Six cars every three years.
4. All expenses paid; medical treatment for the governor and members of his family.
5. 300 per cent of the annual basic salary as furniture allowance, 10 per cent as maintenance allowance, 20 per cent as a utility allowance, and 30 per cent as car maintenance allowance.
6. Eight policemen and two security operatives of the Department of State Services to protect him (so he can spend your stolen money in peace).

The cost of cars alone for Tinubu every 3yrs is over 100m naira.

Meanwhile, your parents who worked for over 35yrs to earn pension are not paid, their gratuity stolen by other rogues called civil servants. And even if paid, their pension in 3yrs won’t even be up to 10m naira. Yet you revere these petty thieves and bow down to them. They derive all their powers and wealth from you! You even fuel the cars you bought for them, cars you can’t afford!.

When you or your parents are ill, you become bankrupt and have to come online to raise funds for treatment. Meanwhile, Tinubu, Ajimobi, the other governors and their complicit families are flown abroad with your money to be treated – no expenses spared – for doing what?

Hospitals, they didn’t build, roads not made, houses not constructed. Ajimobi – having nothing tangible to campaign with – shared kulikuli to the people of Oyo state when he wanted to move to the senate to continue his parasitic living.

They are not former governors, they never governed; they stole instead. They are nothing but democratic petty thieves; better still call them what they really are, parasites!

They deserve no respect, rather they deserve your scorn and stones everywhere you see them, all of them!
Asiwaju awon olè. Not satisfied with robbing you via criminal pension, he makes sure federal allocations and taxes from Lagos end up in his pockets through Alpha Beta Consulting firm. His greed has no limit, his daughter now collects tens of millions daily from your mothers and fathers who struggle to trade in markets, he made her Iyaloja, what does the thief sell?

Ajimobi’s daughter spends Oyo state money like its unlimited at parties. Her father whilst stealing your land and money didn’t pay pension to those who worked and taught many of you how to write the English some of you now use to defend the same rogues. It took Starboy Seyi Makinde to come to pay part of the pension to your parents.

“The greatest threat to every nation remains her government, especially when the task of governance becomes a full-time endeavour giving the governors great power thus enticing bandits and killers to aspire to occupy these position; this ultimately destroys the nation from within” – Yomi Lawal.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is why thieves now govern you, fill your national assembly, head EFCC, ICPC, Police, Army and all government establishments. They can’t change, they were always thieves. Nigeria cannot be great, not possible with these rogues whose family believe looting for 8yrs is service to you.

Its another month and the beginning of the 2nd half of the year. All promises they made you remain lies as usual. You are worse for wear, hungry and hopeless. Yet they keep looting even as recession looms. Playing politics that will give them more access to the national treasury.

So what are you going to do about it, keep bowing down for the jagabanic armed robbers or freeing yourselves? The choice is yours but the consequences…
