Rivers records new covid-19 cases, as Nigeria leaps above 6000 infections

Rivers State has recorded 2 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the state’s total infections to 53.

21 cases have been discharged while 3 have died with the total active cases now 29.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has announced 216 new cases in the country.
