Parts of the Rivers State National Youth Service Corps orientation camp located in Nonwa Tai Local Government Area has been engulfed by fire.
According to eyewitnesses, the Kitchen and dining hall was affected.
The reason for the fire was not immediately clear.
An official who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the cause of the fire has been accessed by it was likely from the gas used in the cooking at the kitchen.
