PDP chieftain commends Wike for support during Gberegbe’s burial

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain from Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Comr. Baranu Daniel Neebari has applauded the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike for his support and magnanimity before, during and after the funeral of Late Dr Ferry Barineka Gberegbe.

Gberegbe, a chieftain of the PDP was allegedly murdered by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, during the March 10 collation exercise of the 2019 Gubernatorial election in Bori.

Comr. Baranu gave the governor his applause on the sideline of the thanksgiving service held by the family of the deceased unionist and politician at the Lutheran Church of Christ in Betem, Khana Local Government Area.

Speaking to newsmen, Comr. Baranu who doubles as the Leader and Ambassador of Generation Now Project popularly known as Project General described Gov. Wike as a leader with a human heart who does not treat his supporters with neglect and levity in tough times.

He prayed God to continually guide and direct the number one Rivers citizen on the path of truth and progress as he continues to defend the defenceless people of the state against the forces and agents of retrogression whose sole aim is to dry up the commonwealth of Rivers State even at the expenses of the lives of the citizenry.
