Jackye and Gedoni Evicted From Big Brother’s House

Florence Uwaeme

Mike, Jackye, Seyi, Mercy, Gedoni, Diane and Frodd were all up for possible eviction last week. Yesterday, during the live eviction show, our fashionista host, Ebuka, adorned in a two-piece cropped jacket and paint by the legendary designer Mai Atafo.

The live eviction stage was set ablaze by performances Harrysong aka Mr Song and his energic dancers.

As is the rule in Biggie’s house, all housemates up for possible eviction that week had their bags packed and ready to leave should they make the list of evicted housemates.

Gedoni was the first person to be evicted last night. This got his in-house girlfriend, Khafi shedding uncontrollable tears. Recall that some weeks ago, Khafi mocked ex BBNaija housemate Alex over how she was inconsolable after her friend Leo was evicted from the house. Some people said it is karma has decided to pay her back for mocking Alex. The manner Khafi wailed last night, one would think she wouldn’t weep over her in-house boyfriend’s eviction after mocking another for the same reason.

When Jackye’s name was called, her friend, Mike and other housemates gave her a farewell hug. Some viewers who considered her boring were glad to see her leave the house. While her core fans were torn apart for viewers choosing nuisance over intelligence, others argued that she was in the wrong show; the reason being that BBNaija is not a show for nerdy geeks like her. Some other people with their own laughable school of thought are glad to see her leave so that Mike’s marriage will remain safe.

Two Strikes In One Night
Actions have consequences. Every adult is quite aware of this indisputable fact. When you are a guest in someone’s house, courtesy demands you abide by the laid-down rules of that house.
Being in Big brother’s house entails you must abide by the rules of the house. Displaying violent tendencies is against the rule in Biggie’s house. Not being punctual to calls is also regarded as disrespectful.

Mercy is guilty of the former while Tacha is guilty of the latter. Mercy threw the bottle at Ike during their argument after Saturday night’s party. This act earns her first strike. This, however, is Tacha’s second strike and she has only one life left. After Biggie played all her videos where she displayed rude, violent and disrespectful tendencies, she was given a strike. It is Biggie’s house Afterall, so, whoever must stay in his house should abide by the rules.
