Just a few years ago, I was a happy-go-lucky Nigerian; minding my business, doing my thing and enjoying my Research Works. I did have a bias for ‘How to Build a First World Country’ and majored more in that. I worked with my team to research on ways to build Nigeria and emancipate people. I wasn’t exactly interested in the politicians (still not interested in them) but in the structure; the system and the Constitution! Those were my passions.
Along came the APC!
I had never seen a more despicable lot; churning out lies by the hour, humongous propaganda that would sink the Titanic several times over. And people paid attention to them. I was extremely alarmed! How could this be? Why would people pay attention to these demons?
Little did I know the problem was more insidious…the APC employed so many tricks, and lies, and even employed treason, and edged out the sitting president and several more hitherto political officers.
We knew the system was faulty, we knew the electoral system was weak, we never knew anyone could throw ALL decency away and employ the same Constitution to steal the country! We were in trouble!
But we hoped that somehow, we would continue the conversation of building a country…like reverting to the 1963 Constitution and the autonomous regions. The Junta that just took power would have none of it! They employed that Constitution so devastatingly that the country virtually collapsed!
While we were still trying to come to grasps with the frightening new era, they started killing people…
First, it was Shiites…about 800 murdered. They were claimed to have blocked the road during one of their processions…
Then they killed Biafrans praying in a church in Nkpor…
Then they killed Igbos at a rally in Ngwa High School for asking for referendum…
Then they bombed the Calabar Creeks on the excuse that some hungry Fellows were stealing crude oil in drums…
Then they killed IPOB members in Afara-akwu in the bid to allegedly kill Mr Nnamdi Kanu…
So many killings…
Then the Reign of the Fulani Terrorists…those kill from Adamawa to Lagos! They kill across the country! The Fulani Terrorists kill on a genocidal scale! And the federal government asked us to accommodate them…no Fulani is ever prosecuted for killing. So they kill more…
And the more they kill, the more the Federal Government seems to reward them! Or so it seems…
So the Fulani Terrorists are the Untouchables! While those that have different opinions with the government are the terrorists!
All the killings did something to my psyche…I suddenly lost my virginity; I was boiling with rage on the inside…burning up with anger at the official injustice, killings and the hellhole the country had become…it was a simple shithole before now…My happy-go-lucky lifestyle disappeared…I became a committed critic of this system, the administration, the Constitution and the country! And my innocence was taken away forever…
So IPOB is not in agreement with the government, they were declared terrorists! They have killed no one! The most dangerous weapon they bear is the Biafran Flag!
So Shiites demand that their leader be released as ordered by the courts. They belong to a different Islamic sect than the president and his minions. Rather than obey the court order, they were declared terrorists!
Of course, the Judiciary is in the back pocket of the president so he simply gives the order to a Judicial Slave and it’s done!
My dear friends, from all indications, it is very easy to be a terrorist in Nigeria and be classified alongside Osama bin Laden, and the rest of them! Once you become too vocal in your criticism of the federal government, you stand the risk of being declared a terrorist!
It is extremely pathetic that some that have renounced the use of reason, celebrate the breach of fundamental human rights against others. It’s a shame that people that expect the country to grow, celebrate Executive Terrorism by the Federal Junta of this president! It is a disgrace!
The celebration of critics as terrorists does not stop the declaration of the next critic as a terrorist!

Quite many people are critical of this junta. And there’s nothing whatsoever that stops this Federal Junta from declaring any critic as a terrorist and have him thrown in the gulag for years! Of course, the national assembly is constitutionally useless and cannot protect the citizen in any way; the courts are even more useless!
So let’s get sober and think Again…as we wait in line to be labelled the very next terrorist! Unless we have our #autonomousRegions or dissolve this excuse we call country, we stand the chance of being declared the next terrorist!
Don’t rejoice in the travails of the Shiites or IPOB; you just might be the very next terrorist!
