This follows calls by Nigerians for the the president to constitute a cabinet to avert the dangers the delay in forming a cabinet his first term caused the country.

While addressing the leadership of the National Assembly during a dinner in Abuja, he said he is under pressure to unveil his ministerial nominees.

According to him: “I am very much aware about it and I am under tremendous pressure on it,” he said.

“The last cabinet which I had, most of them, a majority of them I didn’t know.

“I had to accept their names and recommendation from the party. I worked with them for three and a half years.”

He said that the delay was to nominate people he knows personally and can work with.
