How long do Arsenal players have left on their contracts? All the info on each first-team star

Here’s all the info on those Arsenal’s players’ current deals

Jack Wilshere – 2018

The England international is currently in talks with Arsenal about extending his stay.

Wilshere insists he wants to remain with the club he has been out since he was boy, but has rejected Arsenal’s latest offer which would see him take a pay cut.

Arsene Wenger has stated he wants to keep Wilshere, but right now his future remains up in the air.

Santi Cazorla – 2018

The Spaniard has been out for well over a year due to an awful Achilles injury which has seen him undergo 10 operations.

With his deal set to expire at the end of the season it looks likely Arsenal will reluctantly be forced to let him go.

When asked in January about giving Cazorla a new deal, Arsene Wenger said: “That depends on his medical availability at the top level.

“We have to assess that until the end of the season – if Santi is fit and available to play, then yes. Of course, we have to see that.”

Per Mertesacker – 2018

The German defender has already announced he will retire from playing at the end of the season.

He will officially become Arsenal’s new academy manager in the summer.

Joel Campbell – 2018

The Costa Rica forward will leave Arsenal in the summer.

He is currently on loan at Real Betis and has admitted he wants a permanent move to Spain once his Arsenal deal expires.

Aaron Ramsey – 2019

Arsenal have yet to extend Ramsey’s deal despite being in talks with the Wales international’s camp for some time now.

There are suggestions Ramsey wants a move abroad and so Arsenal could have a difficult decision to make in the summer as the 27-year-old enters the final year of his deal.

Arsene Wenger insists he wants Ramsey to stay.

Danny Welbeck – 2019

Arsene Wenger has stated that he wants to keep Welbeck but the expectation is the forward could be sold in the summer.

He is behind Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Abameyang in the pecking order at Arsenal and is unlikely to sign a new deal.

Nacho Monreal – 2019

The Spaniard arrived at Arsenal from Malaga in 2013 and has been a huge hit at the Emirates.

Arsenal will certainly look to extend his stay.

Petr Cech – 2019

The experienced keeper arrived from Chelsea in 2015 and has been first choice ever since.

His performances have come in for some criticism recently are Arsenal are expected to bring in a new keeper in the summer to challenge Cech for the No.1 spot.

David Ospina – 2019

The Columbian has under 18 months left on his deal but is expected to be sold in the summer.

Arsene Wenger convinced him to stay last year for another season but Ospina wants to go elsewhere to play regular football.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 2019

The Arsenal academy product has enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2017/18, forcing his way into Arsene Wenger’s plans with some excellent performances.

Talks are underway about a new deal and he is expected to put pen to paper before the summer.

Carl Jenkinson – 2020

The defender signed a five-year deal in 2015 but is currently on loan at Birmingham in the Championship.

Arsenal looked to move him last year but he rejected the chance of a move to Crystal Palace to stay and fight for his place.

He is expected to leave in the summer.

Alex Iwobi – 2020

The Nigeria international burst onto the scene during the 2015/16 and continues to be a favourite under Arsene Wenger.

His progress has slowed in the past year and his performances dipped, but Arsenal have high hopes for him for the future.

Laurent Koscielny – 2020

The French defender has been a stalwart since arriving in 2010.

Koscielny is currently vice-captain and is still a vital part of the defence, despite ongoing issues with his Achilles.

Mohamed Elneny – 2020

Arsenal accepted an offer from Leicester City for the Egypt international in the summer of 2017 but he decided to stay at the Emirates.

He has gone on to become an important part of the squad and looks set to be rewarded with a new deal by the club.

Rob Holding – 2020

The young defender joined from Bolton in 2016 and ended the season as a regular in the side, starting in the FA Cup final win against Chelsea.

He earned rave reviews for his performances but has struggled to replicate them during his second campaign in north London.

Holding could be sent out on loan in the summer to spend the 2018/19 season elsewhere.

Lucas Perez – 2020

The Spanish striker joined in 2016 but has never been able to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s side.

He barely featured in the Premier League in his first season and then was sent out on loan to Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2017.

Perez has struggled back in Spain, however, and says he wants to return and fight for his place at Arsenal.

Mesut Ozil – 2021

The German international signed a contract extension in January after well over a year’s worth of negotiations.

Ozil signed from Real Madrid in 2013 and is a hugely popular figure at the Emirates.

He is now the biggest earner at the club, with his new deal said to be worth up to £350,000 a week.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 2021

Mkhitaryan joined in January as part of the deal that saw Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United.

He has already made a good impact in north London, operating alongside Mesut Ozil in the playmaker role.

Granit Xhaka – 2021

Arsenal signed Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2016 and so far he has divided opinion at the Emirates.

But after being eased into the side during his first season he has become a near ever present under Arsene Wenger, who uses him as a deep lying midfielder in front of the back four.

Calum Chambers – 2021

The young England defender spent last season on Middlesbrough before returning to Arsenal in the summer.

He was handed a new contract in October and has been a key part of the Europa League side this season.

Whether he has a long-term future in north London, however, remains to be seen.

Shkodran Mustafi – 2021

The German had a difficult start to life at Arsenal after arriving in 2016 and there were suggestions he could be sold last summer.

Inter Milan were heavily linked but no move materialised and Mustafi continues to be Wenger’s preferred partner for Laurent Koscielny in the defence.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang – 2022

Arsenal signed Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund in January, allowing Olivier Giroud to leave for Chelsea at the same time.

It is hoped that the Gabon international will provide the goals that Arsenal lost when selling Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United.

Alexandre Lacazette – 2022

The French striker joined from Lyon in 2017 and was Arsenal’s club record signing before Aubameyang arrived in January.

Lacazette had a good start to life in north London but suffered a loss of form around the turn of the year before being forced to undergo knee surgery.

Sead Kolasinac – 2022

The Bosnian defender joined a month before Lacazette on a free transfer from Schalke.

Kolasinac lost his place in the team as the season progressed, however, and is now mainly being used as a substitute.

Hector Bellerin – 2023

The Spaniard signed a huge six-and-a-half year deal in 2016 having established himself as one of the most exciting young full-backs in world football.

His progress has flatlined somewhat in the past 12 months, however, amid talk that he is looking to secure a move away.

Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester City have all been linked.

Konstantinos Mavropanos – 2023

Arsenal signed the young Greek defender from PAS Giannina in January, he was the first player signed on the recommendation of new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.
