Super Eagles captain Mikel John Obi is likely to miss Nigeria’s pre-World Cup warm-up game against Poland on Friday.
Reports making rounds have it that the Tianjin TEDA midfield maestro is busy trying to renew his work permit in China.
Super Eagles Team Administrator Dayo Enebi Achor told thenff on Tuesday:
“We all had been hoping that the renewal would come in good time for him to fly to Poland. As it is now, it is not likely that he would make the trip.”
The team’s skipper is expected to arrive London in time for the Eagles warm-up game against the Orlov of Serbia on Tuesday, March 27.
