A 38-year-old lady who was said to have been pregnant for 2 years, has given birth to a lizard in Omoku.
The incident happened inside Omoku market on Wednesday.
According to multiple reports on Facebook, the lady was said to have gone into labour while hawking inside the market.
The lady identified simply as Mrs. Ogife, was said to have been taken to the hospital for proper medical treatment.
A source familiar with the story told TPCN via phone that the news of the strange birth has taken the town by surprise.
The source maintained that the pregnancy has been attributed to evil spirits at some quarters, noting that such has never been heard of in the history of the town.
