Wife of the taxi driver shot and killed by an escort mobile police officer at Rumuokoro on the 17th of February, has said that she has no confidence she will get justice in the death of her husband.
The 21 year old Mrs. Precious, said that as at the moment, the police command have not told the family anything as regards the identity of the mobile police officer that killed her husband.
Mrs. Precious who is nursing a 4-month old baby, maintained that the death of her husband has put the family into a state of choas.
Mr. Bright from Abia state, was shot on the neck by the police officer for blocking the way at the East-West axis of the Rumuokoro roundabout by the officer who was escorting a truck ferrying frozen chicken.
However, the Rivers State command of the Nigerian police claimed that the killer police officer is not a personnel under the command.
The spokesman for police command, nevertheless, promised to do all it can to apprehend the killer police officer.
